Good fun reading back through this. The way those pork chops are carrying on you'd think they'd been struggling for 30 years  :scream

Just like last weeks carlton's win could make our R1 lose look better.

Sorry a little off topic but why is there no televised game on 7 on Sunday?

Wish Bruce would shut up about the betting odds through games. I thought the govt was going to start cracking down on that sort of stuff.

Just now when I think isn't is great that the Bums are useless

and now the scums are on their way down the ladder,

the filth are going to replace the scum in the top 4.

Bruce is starting to annoy me. Takes him 2 hours to get his point across.

I hate to say it but the Blues are premiership contenders. Big hard bodies yet as a team have speed across the ground. Waite and Hampson in current form have solved the problem they had regarding lack of tall forwards. It's a long season though so hopefully they are peaking now and not in September when it counts.

The Pies were really exposed tonight. Jolly can't get off the ground anymore and looks finished, Wood is a dud (200cm tall yet outmarked by Gibbs one-on-one) and O'Brien is a liability when their midfield isn't on top. They now lack depth once they get a couple of injuries with guys like Sinclair playing in their 22. The loss of Ball and Reid will hurt them more. They are lucky they have a soft next month with the draw otherwise top 4 would be out of the equation. Even now it's hard to see the Pies finishing ahead of Geel, Haw, Carl and the Eagles.

The one positive for us is if we win tomorrow we'll be above Collingwood on the ladder ;D

Tries to be too analytical. Just seems to want approval from Tom Harley.

Needs to get back to basics and call the game as he sees it with that unbiased passion.

" Kick the goal Stuey" kind of stuff if you know what I mean the natural stuff that just comes out in the heat of battle calling it as you see it rather than trying to manufacture something that may be memorable.

If Carlton belt the Pies, I wonder if that will change anyone's perspective on how we went with them most of the game round 1?  :outtahere

we played their twos in round one :outtahere

don't let that get in the way of the "everything's great" attitude some peeps have :outtahere

All three of their twos Coach. Which ones? Armfield, Tuohy, Laidler, Lucas.

Still had all their mids and forwards minus Walker.

Yes things may not be rosy but they certainly aren't terrible.

If anything what our loss two weeks ago showed was that our loss to the filth was less worse than our loss to the scum.
