3qtr time
GWS 8.6.54
WB 12.12.84

Most of WB goals from GWS turnovers
GWS keeping both sides in it if that makes sense  ;D

Take away that 2nd quarter where the Dogs kicked 8 goals and the margin in the other 3 quarters was just 9 points.

Gold Coast are in front of North by a point at half-time at Etihad. Maybe being forced into not relying on Ablett is actually helping them.

Would love to see Mckenzie at the Tigers. Ripper line breaker off a back flank or wing, allowing more nuggety types like Batchelor and Ellis an opportunity to get dirty in the middle. Bennell is a ripper too. Carved up Norf on his own.

Melbourne supporters rlentlessly booing the umps on at EVERY stopage in the first half, despite what i can see is a fair game so far. Fat cats trying to get their crap team over the line for their one win of the year before the snow season opens.

Embarrassing collective behavior.

dunno why they'd do that. i hear they enjoy singing the opposition song when they lose
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

Got an SMS from a mate at the game saying it was one of the best things he's seen!

"raines has just done the best thing in his career he just decked selwood with a hard right - one of the best things I've seen!"

Can't wait to see the footage  ;D

Here's the footage. It's on the AFL site...

http://www.afl.com.au/video/tabid/76/contentid/444543/selwood+flattened/default.aspx

Both are away from the ball and Selwood hits Raines first and then Raines retaliates and Selwood goes down.

Rainesy will definitely cop more weeks than Selwood as the contact will be judged as stronger even though he was retaliating to Selwood's whack.

Swanies came back and gave Hawks a touch up from looks of it. Last score check I saw through game was 33 - 8 in
hawks favour.
