Our apparent increase in depth might cause a few problems at the selection table. With our plethora of small defenders, im not sure we can fit both Ellis and Morris in the same side. Assuming it is a choice between them, who would you prefer to line up on against Carlscum?
I understand that the remainder of the pre-season will have a bearing, but just going on what we have seen so far im probably leaning towards Ellis. I love Morris' intent, but im concerned about his skills on the big stage. Ellis looks sharp and super fit for a rookie.
Will be interesting to see. perhaps there is room for both of them.
What'd you freaks reckon?

Both will play, Conca will be out.
DIMMA - You will be held ACCOUNTABLE...

Ellis is a rookie? I thought we took him in the draft with our first pick last year??

By 'rookie' I think Slick Willy means first year player

Ellis for sure.
Morris needs to work on his kicking first
Conca may play Round 1. He might get 2 or 3 weeks

Yeah, i meant rookie as in 'first year player.' I can see how that was unclear though.
I still think it might be a choice between the two. Im sure we'l all be watching them closely in the next couple of NAB games.

Both will play barring injury or suspension.

Agree Rodgerramjet.

Both will play IMHO

I prefer Willy's questions over the RFC burning questions for the plebs.

To answer this one, I believe both will play too. Ellis is more slick with the skills, while Morris will provide the "eat dirt, scum bag" while he throws Betts around like a cabbage patch kid.

would love to put morris on betts.  did anyone see how hard this bloke goes in. through himself at a couple of 50/50 balls full on.  reckon betts would be scared to go near the ball with kamakaze morris around

His foot skills aside, and his amount of diving into air just to tackle aside, I think his aggression is awesome :D

I love on the replay of the Norf game just after Conca smashes Adams, Morris lays a massive tackle on another Norf bloke which initiated the jumper punches.

Once he settles his skills and finds his groove I think he'll be one of our crowd favourites and most hated by the opposition.
