* Asked what the pass mark is for 2012? Improve on 8.5 wins. Played okay footy last year. We went through a bit of a hole in middle part of the season. Want to improve on that and the 8.5 wins.
* No doubt it (first 5 rounds) is a challenging start to the season but it'll also be a good indication of where we are at. We've done okay against sides below and around us. To get better we need to start beating those sides above us.
* The most pleasing thing while he's been at the footy club is everything has followed a definite process. His contract negotiations are no different. When we've got something to say we'll say something. There's always pressure in this job so he can handle any media speculation. When the games start all that stuff is put on the backburner.
* Asked what he thought about Ivan Maric's mullet? As long as Ivan keeps playing the style of footy we want (and he's done that so far) then he can have any hairstyle he wants.
