1/4 time

Richmond    3.9-27
GWS           0.1.1

Goals: Riewoldt, Vickery, Nahas

Little bit of biffo breaking out last few minutes there, Grimes and Ellis got in a scuffle with a couple of GWS players. Don't do anything stupid boys before round 1.

As long as we're 13.3 at half time against the filth don't mind brushing away the cobwebs today.

From RFCO:

1st quarter summary...we've dominated the game but been wasteful, all missed to the same side as well. Didn't feel like a breeze was out there but maybe there is...

Deledio hasnt missed a beat, looks in prime condition. Miller and Riewoldt are lively up forward and GWS luckily for us have been a bit wasteful going forward

Nah theres not a massive breeze ...not sure what's going on but theyre all missing to the same side

Possies:

Lids   12
Cotch   9
Grigg    8
Ellis      7
Foley    7
Houli    7
Jack     7
Martin  7
Newy   7
A. Maric, I.Maric, Morris, Nahas, Rance and Tuck all with 6

Disposals 129 - 69

Brad Miller is a forward who needs to kick goals! he is horrible and during the season he will miss crucial goals that will cost us ... Hardwick saying he is our "marquee forward" tells me we are going backwards.

Miller simply can not kick and if he could we would be a better team. personally Miller is holding up that position for Griffiths, Astbury, Elton ... don't care if two of them are being developed as key backs, that's crap! they are forwards! throw them in the deep end and give them a go!

You are kidding yourself if you think we are a finals team if Brad Miller is in the team having four shots at goal for 1.3! Good forwards kick 3.1 or 4.0!

Don't care if it's pre-season, this is a sign of things to come!

We need Vickery to kick a bag and Miller a bag! Need out B/C grade players playing good football!

Maric sharks, hands to Houli, Cotch kicks long to the wing. Grigg runs onto it, hands to Ellis, to Foley, to Grigg kicks to Miller spoiled by Izzy and A.Maric roves out the back of the pack, goal  :gotigers

GWS actually get it forward for a mark and shot on 50. First goal to them.
