Of the Tiger newbies so far in the pre-season, who has impressed you the most?

without stating the obvious...

new kids = b ellis, morris close behind (attack on the ball/man is fierce but his disposal worries me a tad - harks back to what we are trying to get away from)

liked a couple of things elton has done but seems a project type for next couple of years (especially given who's ahead of him)

newbie recruits - the two Maric Twins (ala Danny De Vido & Arnie) have both shown a bit...def think big Anna Ivan-a-vic can add the most and against the cats he really impressed me...

1. A Maric   Thought he was a dud at Melbourne. Has blown me away.
2. I Maric   Thought he would be ok but nothing like what he's been. Love his aggressiveness.
3. Ellis   Will be a gun.
4. Morris   Dives into packs like a psyco!
5. Elton    Did ok but needs time.
6. Arnott   See above. Like his strength though.

I. maric, looks to be that combative ruck we have desperately needed
B . Ellis, looks to have all the hallmarks of a talented young player, sure hands, efficient disposal, hope he can really develop into a topliner
A.maric..we had a real gap in our front half for someone creative to make something of nothing, he fills that and more with an ability to push up intop midfield
s.morris..Not sure he will get an immediate game but his chances will arrive soon enough, has some work to do on rough edges to his game
M.Arnott..wont be long before he's belting the door down for a senior game, has great qualities
T.Elton..raw as but looks to have some genuine quality, with sure hands , clean disposal and agility, needs plenty iof VFL games to begin finding his way...no hurry

Drafted Kids (1st year players):

Ellis by a long long way, has footy smarts that young lad. Deserves a round 1 debut

Like the look of Elton  shown some really good signs but has a long way to go, personally not expecting him to play alot of AFL this year

A few ? over Morris, his kicking in particular is a concern, hopefully over time they will iron the "kinks" out because his attack on the ball is fantastic

Arnott: again promising signs but needs more time to learn the structures at AFL level has looked a little lost at times during the NAB Cup

recycled blokes:

Maric, I: has showed during the NAB cp why they got him, staggering the impact he is having on ability to win clearance sitneh centre (actually it is more about I didn't realise how bad it really was before  )

Maric, A: genuinely surprised (pleasantly I might add) by what he has shown so far. deserves to be elevated to the senior list
