Stats mean nothing, we overused the ball going sideways & back again, backwards often,  just like the skunks used too play 18 years ago. we would have had higher stats had we not lost the ball easy.

Can anyone explain how our zonal defence system is supposed to work when the opposition is kicking out from goal? It seemed especially obvious last night that either its not being executed properly or its a dud tactic. The Magpies seemed to be able to find an unmarked player time after time but at the other end of the ground we had to resort to playing on from the kick out and then kick to a 50/50 marking contest. Surely this is something that would have been worked on during the off season but they still don't seem to have mastered it.

Yeah our zone is pooe atm. We take an hour to get it out the back half when kicking out. The opposition do what they please when they kick out

Major issues on opposition kicks ins is that we aren't quick enough to press up.thus it fails
Some players don't seem to understand where they have to be

Yep, doing the same as we did 2 years ago....going backwards....have not improved in this are at all...opposition teams thrive on us in this area!

Hooray someone seen the problem, why cant the coaches see that & fix that problem during the game

what r u blokes on about? our kickins were fine, we played on quick and never let them set their zone    defending them though, thats another story, players dont think quick enough re common sense and just worry about their space rather than looking a step ahead and realising there is only one place they are likely to go.

The Tiger army l couldnot even hear. We are a club with non-game football supporters

I agree with Tony Montana, we dont get any benefit as a club, all we have ever done on these games is stick money into Collingwoods coffers by attending their home game. Fuckem. They were expecting 75k they got 57k and theyve taken a hit to their budgets. Well Done Tiger Supporters!
