well something is seriously wrong when Tickets to Geelong are double those for the G.

Agree but seeing Geelong control that ground they can do what they like when it comes to prices for reserved seats and obviously they do

Most important thing is the RFC has done the best they can in the circumstances for their members

Carlton havent played there since 1999 and they have the same membership as us,

why did we accept the draw when it came out in October last year, when everyone knew the stand was then being demolished. :huh

Bums last played there in 1993
Filth last played there in 1996
Scums last played there in 1999

Are there any tickets left and if so can I still get one? I am really keen on going.

Do I need to contact the RFC?

I went on the website and said tix are being sold 10th and 12th of April.

Help will be appreciated.

Jack which part of this do you not understand  or refuse to understand

1/ The GFC didn't tell the AFL and therefore the other Clubs how many tickets they would have available for visting members until earlier this year

2/ Clubs can jump up & down all they like and depsite wishlists and complaints the AFL determines the final draw. it isn't a case of the RFC or any other club "accepting" or rejecting the draw Clubs are told this is the draw end of story.

The RFC were only notified oabout the problems down there in Feb = FACT

I'd like to hear that from the club officially.

If it's confirmed as fact I'll retract my criticism.

Have to say the RFC have done a terrific job with this

Granted not all 16 game members are going to be able to get a ticket but by taking control of the tickets the Club has made sure those who have paid for the 16 game memberships get first crack. What sort of guarantee would there have been if it was left to ticketmaster

But the Club has don'r something , easiest thing in the world would have been to sit back do nothing and say it's all too hard and it's not our problem

Again well done RFC  :bow

that's what I got told last week by someone from the Club when I rang up to find out how/if the 16 game membership would give access to the game.

So unless i've completely misunderstood what i was told then I'm taking them at their word

I work in the building industry and have involvement in this project - at Geelong
Everyone including the AFL and teams scheduled to play there knew of restrictions at the stadium late last year.games could of been rescheduled and moved then.thats life.

Yes Jack everyone knew late last year that the thing was beig redeveloped and it would have reduced capicity that is not in dispute

What wasn't known then was how many tickets/seats Geelong would make available to visting teams.

And isn't the issue here the fact that visiting clubs are only getting 200 tickets allocated to them?
