Is it time?
« on: April 08, 2012, 07:03:01 PM »
Been going well for Coburg. He has improved in the areas he has been mainly bagged for. Second efforts are good and he's clunking some big grabs. Tap work very solid. Kicking a goal or two a game when resting forward too.

Tume for the return of the people's ruckman?

Well, maybe, what have we got to lose, play him up forward as a release for Riewoldt.

I think you're half right Davey. My opinion is that if Vickery continues at his current form then we should drop him back to the Coburg but instead of bringing back Gus I would suggest Derickx should be given a chance. Gus is a ruckman foremost while Derickx appears to be a forward who can ruck very much in the same role/grain as Vickery.

Gus is playing well though but Maric still has him covered easily in the number one ruck position which seems to be the only spot he can play at present.

given we are playing melbourne next week i dont think vickery will be dropped. he has as much chance of regaining confidence against melbourne as in the VFL.

Imagine the meldown if jack was dropped for gus? now that would be priceless  ;D

Big eeevan busts his balls and it is a bit much to ask him to ruck all game, Gus would be handy helping out.
TV will probably get another crack, but I would seriously consider this swap.

Angus isn't the future. Whats the point?

May as well ask M.Richardson to play again and see if he can get 5 possessions. Would be more effective than Angus.

Lets wait till the Dees game.

How different things would be on here if we had a draw like St.Kilda or Essendon.

sorry coach but dont agree, we are getting slaughtered as it is by opposition defence whipping it out quicker than Ron Jeremy due to having 3 lumberers up there, replacing one with the cake wont make a difference except he might clunk a mark or two, what about the 15 or so times his man rebounds out unopposed?

we need to go to 2 talls

I'm all for the return of Richo. Since that isn't going to happen we need to send a rocket to those who are not performing and we should reward those that are. Bakes is one that's performing in the twos so he should be considered. MC probably agrees since he was 1st emergency for the Pies game
