what a LOAD of defeatist rubbish, i smell blood in the water, if we take our A grade game down there we can walk away with a WIN, and wouldnt suprise me in the least if we did either :shh

 :lol :lol :lol

"defeatist"

No I was being positive & realistic ...WAT said so  ;D

And if they turn up with their "A" grade game do you honestly believe our "A" grade game can beat them?

If YES = good for you

Other question (seriously) if Geelong had beaten N0rt today would people still be thinking the same thing?

Let's not lose sight of the fact we beat Melbourne yesterday not exactly a top 4 side and good yardstick on form  ;D

Dead right, if they bring their A grade game, now what I was saying in my first post is that they are down on form and confidence so........our best chance to strike is to expose their current situation but we must have our A grade game on.

Loss to Roos a bad omen for Tigers (Geelong Addy)

The Geelong Advertiser is talking a repeat of 2007  ::)

Loss to Roos a bad omen for Tigers
Geelong Advertiser
Bradley Green
April 16th, 2012

IF you believe in omens, Cats fans should have little to worry about.

There were eerily plenty to cling on to following Geelong's loss to North Melbourne at Etihad Stadium last night.

The last time the Cats lost to the Kangaroos was back in round five, 2007 by 16 points down at Geelong.

But they rebounded in emphatic fashion the following week to crush Richmond by 157 points and start one of the most remarkable dominant periods in football's history.

The Cats lost yesterday by 17 points and their next opponent just happens to be Richmond on Sunday afternoon when they will unfurl their 2011 premiership flag in front of the adoring fans at Simonds Stadium.

...

You can only imagine how nervous Richmond coach Damian Hardwick will be this week wondering what the Cats' response will be come Sunday.

That would be the sentiment throughout their club, they would want to make a statement against us.
I say we should come firing to crush kill and destroy and torch the poohole down once we've finished.

Thanks for not answering the question I asked

But in answer to yours  ;D

No it wouldn't!

If we were 3-0 as opposed to 1-2 I'd still be of the view that we would lose at the cattery

Cannot see us beating Geelong

We are a chance.. A very very tiny chance.

If Maric gets suspended we are no chance in HELL.

Geelong has experienced a wonderful dynasty...I am green with jealousy

You have to ask the question though...After such a sustained period of success- Do they have the same passion/desire/commitment in 2012.
They have had an average of around 3 losses a season over the past five years (wow)...now they have lost 2 of their 3 opening games- both defeats to hungry mid table teams.

I am quietly optimistic.

Sorry Mat, I think you'll find they still have hunger and will feast on us. I'm happy to eat my words but doubt it so
