Richmond V Geelong - sold out!
« on: April 15, 2012, 08:11:00 PM »
Ok, big game here, honestly North have beaten them today so.....

The Cats are down in confidence at the moment and not playing well, we have just had a decent win and some of our players have played themselves into form, Conca, Foley, Newman (to some degree), Nahas......anyway, I won't be disappointed if we lose but I really think we can win this game.

Like I said in a previous post, if our players click, Martin, Riewoldt and Lids can lift with the players that played well against the Dees carrying on that form and our skills comparative of the NAB game against the Cats......We really could pull this one off!!

Edit: added "- sold out!" to title

I reckon they will come out breathing fire after losing to Nought today. Pretty sure Scarlet will still be suspended which is a big plus.
Everything will have to go right for us to pull it off but its not inconceivable.

They will go into next week thinking that they have only got the Tigers and they will get an easy win. That's when we will pounce and get win number 2.  :pray
And you may not think I care for you

It they had beaten N0rt today then maybe a slim chance

Now.....

First game down there, unfurling the 2011 Flag & they've just bean beaten by a very average team

If we can walk away with loss under 6 goals we'd have done OK

North basically ran them off their feet by being clean of foot and very precise when moving the ball forward quickly. I dont think we have the skill level nor the speed across the park to try and emulate this on the weekend. North basically dominated the game but the Cats well down on the day still managed to come home strong. Could get quite ugly this week given we weren't exactly clinical against the Dees.

Would be nice one day to win a game by upset like North did today. We simply don't win games we are not expected to win. Once we do then i suppose we have finally turned the corner as a list. Of course this wont happen until our less skilled players are slowly but surely weeded out. You simply cant play possession football with players who cant hit targets regularly even under pressure. Over time North have flown under the radar and assembled a very skilled list and look to be the big improvers this season.

Mr positive again, not Mr realist...... ;)

Beat them in the centre, contain their forwards, clean accurate skills and we win....simple ;D
