What is the goals advantage with the breeze?
A "hurricane" breeze to the Cats according to the commentators. It's unprotected at the breeze end whereas our end is protected by the stands and we are using that.

Dumb 50m by Vickery (didn't take two steps back). Gifts the Cats a goal.

Centre clearance by the Cats and Hawkins marks and goals easily from 50m. So yep it's a stiff breeze. 3aw saying a 3-4 goal breeze.

Got to maintain possession Tiges. Can't afford missing lead-up targets (nahas missed Maric) or Conca missing a target kicking backwards.

Rance to Houli to grigg lucky handball favours Rance to Lids back to Grigg long inside 50 but Lonergan read the drop better and lead Jack to the ball.

Big Ivan and batch playing well.

Loose handball by the Cats and Conca has a ping from 40m but misses.

Tuck got caught and the Cats clear on the rebound but thankfully Grimes takes a good mark in defence to save the day.

Another dopey free against Vickery (spoiling). mick said he needs to control his aggression. From the resulting play mark (Hunt) inside 50. Thankfully a point.

Nahas runs but kicks into 50m under pressure and to a 2-on-1 so Geelong clears. On the rebound the Cats go coast to coast for a mark insdie 50 in the pocket but thankfully Stevie J kicks it OOTF.

Late in the first quarter. Just need to prevent any more score.

TV said it's a 3-4 goal breeze. Good quarter to only be 1 goal down.

Need to bang on a few in the 2nd to use that advantage.

We can go longer now Tiges. Turnover on the wing.

Cats get one against the breeze. Poor defending mind you.
