Richmond confident of matching Cats
Guy Hand
AAP
April 20, 2012

So is the fact the last time Geelong were beaten by North Melbourne and played the Tigers the next week, the Cats won by 157 points to start a dynasty.

Im tired of expecting to get reamed against this mob

Its about time to come full circle and end the dynasty that started against us.
.

hmm, dont mind the sound of that, has a nice ring to it...Lets do it :gotigers

I reckon this will be a true test of where we are as a club in Toto. I hope we do well but suspect the same cracks to appear.

The day we break this hoodoo against the cats will be the genesis of the emancipation from years of loser culture that has plagued us.
Let's hope today is that day.

Serves them right for making us play down there. The RFC should make a song and dance about it as further ammo so we never play there again.

A POWER failure at Simonds Stadium is causing major disruptions before the start of the Geelong and Richmond game.

Thousands of fans are still waiting to get in to the ground, with people milling around on the road that leads in to the stadium.

There are two queues that reportedly stretch back 150m.

The lack of power is said to be affecting the operation of the turnstiles at two entrances to the ground, with power out for more than 40 minutes.

Strong breeze to one end according to 3aw. Geelong won the toss and will be kicking with it first. We need to maintain possession and waste clock time.

Foley, Grigg and Ellis on the bench.

What is the goals advantage with the breeze?
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.
