Not good.

First quarter was smart footy by us. The 2nd was as if we didn't give a poot. Where is the leadership?

Newman just terrible.

I know I say it often but I just don't understand how Jackson keeps getting games. He would HAVE to be in the 18th-22nd player come selection time. Can't even stick a tackle FFS  :banghead

Time to bring a kid in for him and get some games into him

I ask again where are our crumbers and small forwards?

Nahas has had 1 of his token 4 yearly decent games last week. He obviously thinks he's done enough for this part of the season. No competition for his spot with King ant others injured so he ain't gunna do poot because he doesn't have to.

Going sideways and handballing all the time with a strong 4 goal breeze  :banghead. It's not that hard to play direct down the corridor or advantage side of the ground to even a contest/pack in our forward line with everyone (smalls) knowing there's a contest and being front and square and the side behind the kick pressing up. Put the Cats defence under pressure as they can;t kick long over the press into te breeze. In that quarter our transition play was lazy (mids and half-forwards not working hard enough) and half-backs are going sidewayds. Grimes was the only one who seems to have his brain in gear that quarter.

Not disagreeing with any of that but I'm not a big fan of Kingy either. Just a goer/trier as well. We don't have any A-grade small/mid-size forwards.

Put lids as a third fwd and put Miller loose at CHB. Move Batch into the centre.

It looks to me as though we did the hard work in the 1st Qtr and just expected it to happen in the 2nd qtr. Too many passengers in that Qtr and their leaders stepped up the intensity. I see a blow out in the 3rd Qtr.
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Third quarter will tell if we've improved.

If it's the same old geelong will blow the scoreboard well and truly open with the breeze; if we've improved we'll lift our workrate and repeat the first quarter to stay in the game.

Get him cutting up oranges then. Jackson can help him, although, he'd no doubt miss tackle the fruit bowl

Sadly we don't have two subs- take Miller and Jacko both off.

Good work by Cotch and Dusty Jack marks on a tough angle. Goes across the face for a Geelong mark (another non-contest in our forward line  ::) )

LOL Jacko

Vickery hurts his right arm. A singer.

Grigg long. Off hands for a point.
