The mcc will b close to capacity dont worry about that!
For what it's worth I pay good money for my mcc and believe I
I have the right to turn up as I please, more often than not in
comfort, no excessive queues for food drink, space and choice
of where I sit. This is what I pay for!
Just like the grand final if you want to be at these games you
fork out at the start of the year and do not bring affordabity
into it some can some can't, it's just part of life.
Oh and go Tiges let's rape our dreamtime bishes  :gotigers

Never imagined at the start of the year that this game would be bigger than the grand final rematch on the same weekend. Hopefully it will be good finals atmosphere conditioning for the players. Especially blokes like Ellis, Morris, Batchelor and Conca.

From the MCG facebook page

A crowd of 85,000 is expected at tonight's Dreamtime at the 'G between Essendon and Richmond. All public seats have been pre-sold, so there won't be general admission entry. Match starts at 7.50pm. Pre-match actvities from 7.00pm. All gates open at 4.00pm.

The MCC handed over 3500 of its own seats for public sale to this match (which all sold) and we expect the remainder of the MCC Reserve will be very well populated. If history is a guide, the main gaps will be Essendon reserved seat members who don't use their seats.

the bummers have a system where people that know they are not going to use their reserved seat can let the club know and it can then be on sold, on a game by game basis.
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

That is a great system and one I wish the MCC and AFL reserve would adopt.
