Richmond coach Terry Wallace has described Sunday's clash against Fremantle as a must-win match for the club and he says it's crucial in the overall context of the Tigers' 2005 season.

Wallace said the opportunity to notch up three wins was imperative considering the Tigers have matches against St Kilda and Port Adelaide in the following two weeks.

"It's massive for us. Number one, from the point of view we haven't won a home game in front of our home members for a long time, so from that aspect it's really important that we start to show our supporters something," Wallace said on Friday at Punt Rd Oval.

"If the game was played over there, Fremantle would expect to win the game at home and we've got to start to expect ourselves to win these games.

"I think from the point of view of setting up the season, all of a sudden we have the chance to go three (wins and) one (loss) with a couple of big games over the next couple of weeks, which really sets up our season, so this is massive.

"The last couple of weeks, we've been really trying to find out where we were as a side and now we've got a little bit of confidence going into this game and we just need to win."

Not sure for a team that's in it's first year of rebuilding that it's massive. Looks like Wallace is putting the boys under the pump again to test them out and see who stands up.
