Hutchy on his TAC Cup Future Stars show got Plough to redo the 2008 draft based on how things have turned out now.

From memory as they just flashed the names 11-20 on the screen (I may have one or two wrong)...

1. Naitanui
2. Hurley
3. Shuey
4. Yarran
5. Hill
6. Hannebery
7. Zaharakis
8. Sidebottom ...... this was our actual pick
9. Sloane
10. Jackson Trengove
11-16 (not in order): Mitch Robinson, Steven Motlop, Liam Anthony, Ballantyne, Rich, Hartlett
17. Beams ..... too low in Hutchy's opinion
18. Redden
19. Shiels
20. Vickery ..... Plough said if this was done last year Ty would've been higher.
21. Watts

Gee Melbourne really stuffed up with Watts didnt they!

So who instead of Vicks could we of had that is playing better?

Pretty much everyone that has ever been drafted is in better form the Vicks. Vickery's teammates don't help him out one bit though. Maybe Vickery breaks team rules by making good leads up the corridor instead of leading to the fence :whistle

hardwick said as much after last weeks game. sat down with the midfielders and highlghted the number of times vickery found space and they ignored him.
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

Yeah, was a bit of that going on yesterday that didn't impress me one bit.  I think that's the biggest difference I see in Jack's games this year - his reluctance to lead like he means it and wants it.  Too many half-behindd attempts and too intent on getting back to a pack situation for the big speccie.  If he gets back on his bike the goals will flow quite quickly again.

Agree. Almost every time we have it going forward Jack is there pointing his finger in the air. Needs to lead more. Needs to help bring other forwards into the game

Hairy Malaka has never coached an AFL side, only overseen a terrible list and turned it into a diabolical one. Coaching hybrid rules is the equivalent to dancing with your sister.

Pete Rohde was offered an interview in 2009. ;)
