Lloyd on Sunday footy show moments ago.

Enough excuses Richmond (in regards to Sandilands playing)

then seconds later

Injuries have cost Essendon a finals spot.   ::)

No excuses Lloydy.

I was quite proud - it was my first snipped post, even if the cause of it being snipped was your quote!   ;D

Well since our finals days are gone, l'm so happy that Carlton & Essendon are also. They spend loads more money compared to us this year  ;D

Yeah right.

This time 30 years we had won a premiership by a record margin 2 years earlier and were about to head into september as a real chance of another.

The football world was talking about how Richmond could dominate the comp in coming years, but no one new the simmering discontent amongst the players largely due to the coach who trained them too hard - in their own precious, soft minds that is.

So how the eff does that relate to your beloved bombers now, and their much vaunted winning culture?

Essendon must be bad. Even Rohan Connolly is saying they've run out of excuses...

You can't just take a hatchet to a list without adequate replacements, comes the obvious party line. But if you don't spend too many years deciding whether a player is up to it or not, that isn't the problem it continues to be for Essendon.
Some may say this has also applied to us with McGuane (8 years on our list), White (7 years) and Jackson (9 years) for starters.
