Don't forget Milne -> Betts

I thought the only thing that hurt Maric was that he didn't typically rest forward. I agree with the comments on Cox but at the time I thought he got it because he often played forward then relieved Naitanui. But when they called Cox up forward I assumed it was because Jacobs (or Maric at a long shot) who got the number one ruck spot. Definitely didn't see Naitanui getting it though...

Two Tigers must be the Richmond quota though  ::)

And ROFL @ Brayshaw in MMM this arvo that Swallow didn't get a mention  :rollin

milne poos all over betts, milne is the best small fwd going around , second best is le cras but he has been injured

Only in Goals. Betts dominated every other stat this year.

no problem with rioli being in the side. he played almost exclusively as a sml forward averaged  almost 4 more possesions a game than the other contenders and roughly double the tackles. when he tackles they are effective.
to me the only area milne was better than rioli was the number of goals kicked.

to me either big ivan or sam jacobs were robbed.
would also have put cox on the bench and had pavlich in a forward pocket.jack was a bit stiff but there were areas of his game that were ordinary.

Natanui, Rioli. hahahah

what a complete joke

x 2 Daniel.  Terrible selections, nowhere near AA form from those 2 this year.

I had no problem with Jack missing out to Hawkins but the stats tell me I might be selling him short.  Both played 21 games:

Riewoldt - 211 kicks, 114 marks, 80 handballs, averaging 9.6 kicks, 5.2 marks, 3.6 handballs. 65 goals, 48 behinds, 9 clearances, 40 I50m, 1 rebound 50m, 57 tackles.
Hawkins - 194 kicks, 141 marks, 75 handballs, averaging 9.2 kicks, 6.7 marks, 3.6 handballs. 62 goals, 36 behinds, 9 clearances, 44 I50m, 25 tackles.

In hindsight, not really a compelling case for Tomahawk over the reigning Coleman Medallist.

overrated wamker

So nicnat is a wanker because some clowns picked him in some meaningless squad?

Congrats to Trent and Lids. Very poor decision to leave out Maric. Thought they would leave out Jack. Pav will feel aggrieved.

Agree claw - taking off my Tiger's cap I thought Jacobs was a real show, he's had a very good season

The NicNat selection however you look at it just cannot be justified. Yes he can be exciting but when has he actually won a game for the Eagles off his own boot? He players a couple of good quarters and then goes missing for weeks. His form in the finals as perfect example I would have thought

Nat said it before and last time, good athletic player but most overhyped afl player by a country mile, jack was stiff (tom is still a big girl and the handbag will come out as the cats slip away)!
Anyway great talking point the AA and some fantastic players. Could make a great B team also 'Now that would be an interesting match'!

The biggest joke of the All-Australian awards is that Luke Darcy is one of the selectors.

And you may not think I care for you
