Benny wanted 50k members? I think if we keep up this form we should get to 60k

We will.  But not this year.   ;D

Anyone who hasnt got a finals ticket will be struggling to get one if we get drawn to play at Etihad for example. Get a members ticket if you wanna go to the finals. Digglers caravan park looks like its gonna be empty this September! ;D

And first week of October.  :pray

Love him or hate him Milne is pretty good, his work off the ball, positioning to best effect and footy smarts was pretty good to watch, we did well to shut him down, was The Miner on him all night?
Milne's greatest liability is his set shot for goal. he misses a lot he should get and would frustrate the crap out me if he played with us

Agree with both of you and was good to watch him up close, would have been dangerous had he snagged a couple of those missed set shots

A very good win. Thought Nahas played a very good game and Jack was deservedly best on ground. It was a good team win. Thought Ellis played his best game for the club and was impressed by Griffiths. To beat a side that has had the wood on us for so long and to beat them at a ground that we traditionally have not played well out was very pleasing. As was the fact that we backed up from the week before. Also pleasing was the fact that when challenged we responded on each occasion. The fact that we were not at our best and still won was also a good sign

Our game had 1,176,000 tv viewers in total watching which would've made it the most watched show last Friday night.

7          767,000  (528k in Melb)
7mate     94,000
Fox       315,000

The post-match coverage on Ch 7 had 464k viewers basking in our glory.

Expect us to be playing more prime-time Friday nighters next year when the 2013 fixture comes out :yep.

Thought it was interesting hearing Dimma talk about our tactics of creating less stoppages during the game to negate the saints style, which we executed well, but then played too quickly offensively not allowing our defense time to set up which lead to the saints scoring easy goals.

Shows the team's football intelligence is maturing but still has a way to go - and that Dimma's gameday coaching is better than some previously thought.

And what is with the series of photos of a semi naked man in the background?  :shh

Having watched the replay of the game a few times you tend to look at different things. Just wondering what the rule is when players take a mark on the line between the point and goal posts. Kosi took one such mark but ended up with quite an easy shot. The week before Vickers took a very similar mark against the Hawks and was sent back onto an almost impossible angle, cant see the difference yet the level of difficulty required for both kicks was vastly different.
