Looks like MCGuane went ok..l
DIMMA - You will be held ACCOUNTABLE...

“We are really excited about what we have brought in. We have got great depth of players that can take us where we need to go. We are just putting some cream on the top at the moment,” he said.

"Rucks:
Shaun Hampson is the No.1 man"

Sounds like Grimes only played a half as I haven't heard his name since half-time.

27 mins Q4. I would say Coburg are safely home now. The intensity of the game has dropped.

Vendetti goals to seal it.

Cob  82
Coll  57

Grimes came off at half time,
Went very good

Out of the Ricmond players
Thought White was a standout.
Elton will be good, although his disposable lets him down..
K.Moore alot more advanced than people think.
Already past guys like Post and Derrickx for games..
If White doesnt get rubbed out , he should get a game next week
O'Hanlon played and was ordinary.
McGaune good up forward
Gus and Browne worked hard on a heavy ground

In your opinion Jack, is McGuane a valid alternative up forward for Vickery, especially in the short term?

Coburg had 60 more possessions.

Commentators votes:

3. White          White
2. McGuane     Clifton
1. Vendetti    Vendetti

My thoughts:
White - B.O.G. He would've had something close to 30 possies. The only downer was that he got reported in the 2nd qtr.
McGuane - 2nd B.O.G. Presented, contested and marked well. Kicked 2.5 like a defender so missed out on a bag.
Webbs - keeping up his consistency at VFL level. Would've had a fair bit of it.
Elton - great first half with 6 marks (3 or 4 inside 50). Found it more difficult in the second half with the muddy ball to hold onto marks.
Grimes - only played the first half. Pre-planned. Potter said it's a shame we'll only see him once at Coburg as he's quality.
Moore - didn't hear him much after half-time either so I'm presuming he's gametime was limited coming back from injury as well. Strong in defence and on the rebound in the first half.
A.Maric - Okay and contributed but by the sound of it would struggle to get back in based on today's game.
Post - a couple of goal saving tackles in the 2nd half would please the coach. Still needs to do more. Confidence is down.
Graham - For effort, presenting and contesting you'd give him a tick but his disposal lets him down. He'll probably be named in Coburg's list of bests though.
Browne - Sounded like he was the best ruckmen on the day. Had the better of Wood by the sound of it.
Derickx - hardly mentioned in the broadcast. Would be last in the ruckmen pecking order now.
Verrier - probably had a dozen or so possies but made a couple of blues in the 3rd qtr. First year young rookie so you give him some slack.
O'Hanlon - Drifted in and mostly out of the game. Made a few disposal blues as well.

probably not. McGaune tried hard though and kicked some nice goals
Reckon Elton will be though.very impressive by his attack on the ball
I know the only thing holding him back is his disposal, next year for him
2 Coburg players that impressed were Leigh Masters and David Fahey

Jack, who was playing on the Collingwood forward who kicked 4 goals?

How much gametime did Kel play?

Kel played most of the game
And I gather it was no 33 for Collingwood who kicked the goals .
He kicked them on Derrickx and Post

Cheers Jack. Great news about and for Kel.

I agree about Elton  :thumbsup. Once he builds up his body strength over the next couple of years to handle AFL level, he will make a good forward combo alongside Jack R.

Keep McGone in the 2nds. Elton or Vickery will be the future foil to Jack.

He looks pretty well built to me
Mail is that his disposal needs to improve before they start playing him

i'd play him ahead of miller any day. Atleast then he's had some games under his belt before we really challenge.
The club that keeps giving.
