Foley was a big part of the midfield heart yet at the same time limited.

I can tell you what would of happened
The only way possible he would play this year is that he had an pain killer to train this morning to see if he could play a game
They were desperate to play him

stuffing called this when he went down however a few seem to of thought he would be easily covered......yep.....NUFFERS!!

Mate, this is why people hang poo on you. On almost every topic you have to include something about some past opinion you've had and how brilliant it was and how unjust those who disagreed with you were. It's tiresome, and frankly it makes you look like a flog.

It's official - Axel gone for the season  :(

http://www.richmondfc.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/6301/newsid/141088/default.aspx

Star Richmond midfielder Nathan Foley will miss the rest of the season after suffering a partial rupture of the Achilles tendon in his right leg at training today.

Foley, who had been battling to overcome a heel complaint that had sidelined him since the Tigers’ Round 10 victory over St Kilda, was undertaking a running session when the injury occurred.

“He was actually running at sub-maximal pace and was doing a very similar session to what he completed on Saturday, which he pulled up really well from,” said Richmond’s Elite Performance Manager Matthew Hornsby.

“Repeating that session today, he, unfortunately, had an incident.

“We’ve been really cautious and conservative with him, because of his history, so it’s really unfortunate for him.”
