TWO Richmond players are expected to face severe disciplinary action over their social behaviour in recent weeks.
Troubled footballer Daniel Connors and emerging star Dustin Martin are believed to be the two players in question.
The AFL today refused to name the players and Richmond officials could not be contacted.
It is understood the two parties have been in urgent discussion this morning.
Last October, Richmond suspended Connors for 12 weeks and told him to deal with several lifestyle issues.
The 23-year-old sought professional help for alcohol-related behaviour and what he termed as "bad decisions'' he made while drinking.
Connors returned in Round 12 against Greater Western Sydney.
"The club told me I needed to go and change the way I was living my life,'' Connors told the Herald Sun in January.
"I went away and spoke to a few different people and I continue to work on those issues.
"I don't want to go into specifics, but a lot of the time, my alcohol issues led me to make bad decisions which have got me into hot water in the past and it's still getting me.''
Connors told Fox Footy recently he had been living like a "hermit".
A press conference is expected to be called today to confirm the news.
