I had a dreadful feeling they were going to bring in McGuane. Play him in the forward line to minimize damage of turnovers. Play Derrickx in the backline. I hope they are playing Tom because he is in good form and warrants it not out of desparation. Don't believe it was right to drop Elton Not sure about Maric coming in

Absolute right move to drop Elton, simply not ready yet.  Will be a good player but not this year.

x 2.  Had his taste and now can focus on closing the gap between his current ability and what is required for the next step.  I'm with you PM21, will be ok in the long term.

Both smart comments, and I agree.
No reason why he won't come back here and there next year for more tastes

Anyone think Beefcake was stiff not to get a look in b4 big Tommy D? .  I am all for throwing X man a game  but  Goose  could probably count himself a little unlucky , He has been pretty  solid at the burgers this year from all reports

Explanation is pretty simple, Angus is contracted for next year, Ton isn't.

We need to make a decision on Tom.

does anyone know where to get a stat for:
The last time a team made 7 or more changes and won that round?

I would say it has never (or close to never) been done.

Let's hope we buck the trend.

According to Eddie McGuire the last time we made 7 changes and won was in 1963.   :help
