Sadly Astbury is out for the season so Chaplin is under no pressure for his spot. Being in the "leadership group"  ::) also keeps him safe from being dropped.
Terrific, just terrific!

Vickery can play back
Darrou not debuted
Elton one game
Vickery - when has Ty shown he can play in the backline?
Darrou - sadly isn't an AFL key defender (yes I know wags will say neither is Chaplin this year lol).
Elton - no idea what we are doing with him. A natural forward who is playing in defence in the VFL.

I thought both were ordinary today.
I also thought jack was bad...he keeps sitting behind his opponent and asking for the ball to go over the top...Maybe we should hire Eddie Charlton for some pin point accuracy lessons to help jack out

Could Elbe wrong but I thought jack marked it often today from leading to space and catching the ball

N Riewoldt pavilc etc were incredible in the backline, , getting games, before moving to the forward line

I don't see why McBean couldn't be a better-than-Chaplin option

Watching Chaplin not running to his man (Longer) and telling an under sized Newman to man him up is great leadership  ::)

Darrou and Elton played well in back line.

Darrou's been playing well in the backline for two seasons, Scoop.
