To be honest I'd rather play Todd Elton in the seniors. Give him 6 weeks to settle in and form an understanding with Rance.

At least we'll know where he is heading, his deficiencies and he can take the tallest target as he is our tallest backman.

Probably true but if he's struggling in the reserves how is he going to go at senior level? A dud pick up is a dud pickup and FJ failed with this Jayden Post wannabe.

Why was Chaplin played forward? It simply doesn't work. At on stage he was up back and did a beautiful pass to Rance who then did a great kick forward only have Hunt stuff it up. My thinking is bring back the backline from last year - Chappy, Rance, Bachelor, Vlastin, Houli, Grimes when he's recovered and alternate with Macintosh & Morris. Definitely ditch Hunt and Astbury is too injury proned
