have a suspicion that alroy gilligan will be in the reserves team too.
What makes you say that?

Looks like he is training with the squad in the videos...check the background.

VIDEO: VFL introduction - Pat Contin ...

http://www.richmondfc.com.au/video/2013-11-29/vfl-introduction-pat-contin

“I’m still pretty good mates with a lot of the guys, so to have the ability to come back and play with them next year, it’s going to be a lot of fun,” Contin told ‘Roar Vision’.

“It definitely made it a bit easier for my decision, the fact that they did show a little bit of trust in me, to want me to come back.  I never really wanted to leave in the first place, so it was pretty good to come back, and good to know you’re wanted.”

confirmed:  Ross Young.

Ex Carlton mature age rookie (1st MAR to play AFL), and ex Perth Demons (Sandover Medalist and multiple Butcher Medalist) Ross Young ?

If so, a seriously good acquisition - an absolute star of a bloke and a good leader / mentor.

What is Richmond's reserves history like?

We won the 1999 AFL reserves Premiership?

Davey joins VFL Tigers
richmondfc.com.au
December 3, 2013 6:18 PM

Richmond’s standalone VFL team has secured the prized signature of recently-retired AFL star Aaron Davey for the 2014 season.

Davey announced his retirement from AFL football earlier this year, after 10 seasons, 178 games and 174 goals at Melbourne.

The 30-year-old will play a key on-field role with Richmond’s new VFL team, as well as providing coaching and mentoring for Richmond’s Korin Gamadji Institute (KGI).

“I’m super excited.  It’s a great thing for the Club, being first year standalone, which is pretty special,” Davey said.
