RFCO on what works need to be done at Punt Road Oval  ....

Question - "Brief run-down of the work involved? Stand? Turnstiles? Fencing?"

RFCO - "All that, a bench needs to be installed for the teams, a walkway from the JDS to the ground for the away team, upgrade the canteen, try and squeeze some seating in, finish off the coaches boxes, reinforce and clean up the JDS, install toilets and more...plenty to do. ........ A lot of work between now and March but it can be done."

Interestingly Benny Gale made reference to getting it up to "safe standard" for the fans to be able to watch games

Looking at the JD stand this arvo have to say it needs a fair bit of work it looked shocking.

Are they building coaches' boxes in the J.D. Stand at the moment?

if being a strong and very competetive vfl side is the aim. imo  we will be playing a fair few midfield top up players.

I remember watching a vfl match at punt road 7-8 years ago? Foley got 40 touches, it was wet and collingflog players were watching?

Nah can't help, saw them too though.

Couldn't hear all the names because as Tim Clarke was introducing each player the audience applauded but Tim (mr Serious is our Timmy) just kept talking so you couldn't hear him properly
