Reckon the caps scarfs mass produced in sweat shops probably cost a couple of bucks at most.

Correct

Not sure what the other clubs with ressies do, but maybe they could offer a VFL membership for say 30 extra for RFC members that would get access to all VFL matches, otherwise you pay at the gate if your not an RFC member or dont take up the offer.
And there's your money!

Club have always said you RFC membership will get you entry to our VFL games so I am not sure they are in a position to or would want to charge people for a separate membership for the VFL side

Then again if they are going to use the next lot of FTF for this then make sure the members know this, I had an envelope handed to me saturday which went straight in the bin (Given heaps!) but if I was more aware and this is what it would be used for would of chucked in again no worries.

Pretty sure that their web-site articles last week promoting it being the FTF round they had said the next thing the FTF was focusing on was raising money for the "upgrade of the interface" at Punt Road to enable VFL games to be played there.

Will try and find it

"The next stage of the FTF is to raise funds to redevelop the interface around the ground at the ME Bank Centre, including OH&S compliance, adequate ground access, change room facilities and viewing platforms, with the ultimate goal to bring VFL football games back to Punt Road Oval."

Case in point, I consider myself a bit of a Richmond freak but missed that!

Stuff OH&S compliance. Just make everyone sign a waiver on the way in.

Sorted?

There's a fair bit of work to be completed before sign off to play games there and considering they haven't really started any of the works yet I think things are from being sorted  :whistle  ;D

Stuff OH&S compliance. Just make everyone sign a waiver on the way in.

Bit more complicated unfortuantely, certain things need to be completed before the VFL will OK the ground for games.

Only going by another poster who posted on PRE that at a function this morning GM said that
- Around $1m of work will be done to PR oval and stands in off-season - have the money in Jack Dyer fund...

Understand that but....

It is fine for the RFC to say everything will done in the off season

But our history with construction programs over the last 3-4 years is terrible.  ;D

The re-development which was to take about 9-12 months to build took over 18 months (the Indigenous Learning Centre/MRC)

Hell it took us close 2 years from when we got the funding to when actually started building  ;D ;D

So forgive the cynic in me for thinking what they want to have done and they actually get done are slightly out of whack

 ;D ;D

CLub will be paying for them to be placed when they finally get around to re-laying them after the finish the next upgrade (getting it ready for VFL footy).

I am hoping I get to see them again by 2015 or 2016
