No Grigg was contracted so he wasn't an option, besides he is a Dimma favourite so he won't be going anywhere while Dimma is coach

Here's a few I think are very lucky

O'Hanlon - not sold personally, reckon he is too slow
Dea - a "betwix and between player"= too good for VFL, not good enough for AFL
Astbury - see Dea + too slow
Helbig - I like Helbig, just thought they may have cut him or tried to trade him
"Oh yes I am a dreamer, I still see us flying high!"

All of those players you listed have the potential to take the next step. They are now our bottom tier, which is an indication of a pretty decent list IMO. Reckon Dea and Helbig are good chances to make it. Dont have as much faith in the other slow pokes.

So who are the players there?

Tim Clarke the coach with Max Bailey assistant?

Ed Barlow and Pat Contin, experienced VFL players, with Pat Contin as former Richmond Rookie listed player.

I'd imagine we'll pick up some kids who miss out on the draft.

Ben Kearns from Gippy Power will play for Collingwood VFL if he isn't drafted. We would probably have told a few others the same thing.

i cant see too much point in filling the vfl spots with kids TBH.
Better off with mature players that can offer leadership and guidance
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

Not unless there is some sort of scheme in which we can rookie list vfl listed players them following year, or some similar AFL pathway beneficial to Richmond

From 2014, Richmond expects to play VFL matches once again on Punt Road Oval, at the ME Bank Centre. However, the job is not done yet.

The Club is currently working with its valued stakeholders to secure the necessary funds required for the redevelopment of the interface, and upgrades to the Jack Dyer grandstand and facilities, that will ensure VFL games played at Richmond once again can become a reality.

The support from Richmond members and fans is vital to the ongoing transformation of our home, and creating a strong and bold future for the Tigers.
