Wonder if we're looking for any replacements for Tyrone Downie - seeing as he was set to be both a player and a development coach, will we need one two blokes to cover his loss or will we bother replacing him at  at all?
We are indeed looking at replacements.

IMHO - Griff is ahead of Vickery - Gives us twice as many options if he keeps that competitive attitude !

Get Shane Yarran over here. Has a past but is the best player in the country outside the AFL! By a mile....
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.

While we are on replacing things, are we also going to replace our colours as they seem to be slowly hijacked by Hawthorn by stealth every year?  Their browns are slowly turning into black and gold... I mean soon they will demand we get an away strip against them or they will be playing with a sash...

Our VFL captain Ross Young has gone too. He's joined Uni Blues in the Ammos.

Odd.  He's come for a year, captained the team, won a B&F and now gone back after 1 year? Surely this needs an explanation from him or the club.  Couldn't imagine the club would have marched him after 1 year as a B&F winner.

Ross couldn't commit to another year as captain due to a promotion at his job, he will have a lot less commitment at Uni Blues. We wish him all the best, he was great for us.

How did Tyrone Downie come about RFCO?

Mates of mine around Bendigo tell me there are plenty of better players and coaches in that comp but first us and then the Gold Coast were after him?
Who isn't a fan of the thinking man's orange Tim Fleming?

We definitely need to improve the quality of our VFL listed players - Wall was just about the only one who regularly looked like he was up to that level last year IMO.

Our talent identifiers rated him, and apparently Gold Coast's did too. That's all that matters I guess.

A few new names coming in and a few departing. Waiting for the story on the website before we officially release all the players listed.

Was it as a player or a coach we were mainly interested?
