I dont think conca and ellis is the issue.

Its not that bottom or the top level thats hurting us.

The middle group:  moore. Miller. Jackson. Mcgaune. Graham. Amaric.

Furthermore the like of heslin, macdonald, connors being spinless little girls has put extra load of conca and ellis. Foley, helbig, aarnot not being able to play doesnt help.

You cant blame blokes like Miller & Graham who were not playing last night. The club is not using them properly & a Miller or Graham would have made all the difference last night.

it blokes who turn the ball over with hack kicks like Conca, Post, Ellis, & a lazy Rewoldt who cost games. add McGuane who every game gives away a free kick that will give a goal away, Moore & King who are not 100% match fit should not get games ( thats a selection & coaching fault ). That alone will give you a loss before the game starts. Playing a dehydrated fool will let down all team-mates & is bad for any kid to see

Not really concerned about Ellis..First year ,played every game ,won rising star nomination. You really cant expect much more.of the youngsters the one that concerns me most is Reece. To me he lacks smarts around the contest,i still mantain he also lacks leg speed.

Nothing wrong with Conca

Conca also has some issues, the get it and kick it wherever mentality needs to be put out of his game.
last week was the first time that has really surfaced, and a couple of times it was warranted due to pressure.

there seems to be a bit of panic creeping in amongst the younger players in these tight games, but that will happen when they are expected to to step up earlier than they should be.

If these kids had the luxuary of slotting into a side with lots of experienced cool heads around them, it would be a different story.
I just hope they can ride the storm rather than break.

havent seen the replay yet but Ellis looked to have shirked a contest at the start of the second quarter... Not good and a concern going forward

cant kick which is a real issue.
His attempt running into goal and missing was poor.
And lets dont talk about his kick in D50 in last quarter

Let's blame the 18 year old that's surrounded by onions. Had a bigger impact than most of the seasons. Execution and footy smarts at AFL will come with experience. He had some real shocking kicks last night, but don't forget the ripper 50m pass on the left into Dusty up forward.

You know what Jack I agree with you there on his D50 kick and missing a running goal as he did last week but the kid tries to do the right thing and I can't fault him for that and hence I am happy to give him a go and know that as a first year kid he will learn. SO whilst I may be critical of him I am also philosophical and certain that he has the attributes that situations such as these will tach him a lesson where he and the club will reap the benefits in the future.

In terms of the rising star he won't get it but at the end of the day who really cares.
It's nice to win but you get judged at the end of your career not after your first season.
Just ask Danyle Pearce.

Ellis has not been played as a forward this year. Anything but...

However to single Ellis out when experienced players in the 2nd like Lids Jack twice and Nahas all missed relatively easy shots any one of which would have won us the game had they been accurate and to single out a kid who has played 17 games merely to exentuate that our drafting is all wrong and the kid is a dud to get the rank and file en masse onto an anti Dimma and RFC theme is quite laughable at this stage of the year also.

Whilst I know you worked at the RFC you should at least rather than bag the kid and the coach knowing the magnitude of the job he has had to deal with bag the real culprit here as to why we are where we are three years after his departure and lay the blame on that Hopkinsville Goblin who was your boss when you were there who left our list in a state of decay and direpair whilst he cashed in his pennies and continues to do so in his media gigs commenting for the riff raff pundits out there.

However if you want to find everything wrong with the kid then that's fine by me b/c I rest my case.

Nahas' missed goal in the 2nd was very poor. We have to get better at kicking for goal. Ellis should play for the rest of the year. Give him experience and over summer bulk up.

Don't worry Tucker. Some blokes were actually meant to be born women and that's why they do nothing but whinge. It's time to take a break from footy for some supporters, it's not healthy to carry so much negativity.

Have to blame the recruiters and coach for this one.  He can't kick.  Sure he competes hard.  But kicking is a pretty important attribute in a game called "football"

He might develop but didn't Hardwick grand stand that he would only recruit skilled players......
