Easiest way to get the best junior players into your club is to go the tank. Melbourne could end up with the first 3 picks this season and if they do with Paul Roos in charge they will go right past us.

Easiest way to bring an irrepairable losers culture to your club and no kids will want to play for us.
Anyhow , Melbourne will stuff their picks up like they always do. Josh Kelly says hi

we have 9 first round draft picks apparently..so getting more into the club by tanking aint the answer.

Vickery. (who could still be saved with a bit of latteral thinking from a decent coach and higher standards from the club. )

Ellis has played 3 poo games from 4 this year but still has played more high-quality games in two years than Conca has in three. He's also the best mark in the side outside the KPP's and Deledio.

...and how is Lennon a pass when he hasn't even played a game yet?

Trade Vickery to Melbourne who need a forward after Mitch Clarke bit the dust.

The will most likely finish bottom and get a priority pick. We'll finish bottom four and have a top 5 pick. Trade that top 10 pick and give them Vickery and their priority pick which would most likely be pick 2-3. Need top end talent. Get rid of the B and C graders.

Trade Deledio to GWS and give him a premiership for their first pick (Top 4) and a gun kid who wants to come home to Vic, maybe someone like a Devon Smith.

Trade Jack Riewoldt to GC and get their first 2 picks. Play Griffiths, McBean and Elton up forward who are the next generation as we have stuffed up the current one with trading to many rejects and failures from rubbish clubs. I feel sorry for our fans and top end talent who have been screwed over for success because of a stupid drafting philosophy of junk.
Go Tigers!

gotta stay competetive no matter what happens.

to me every week we have to pick sides with maturity experience good size and height and a bar should be set.
while doing this we have to acknowledge the need to continue to get games into likely kids  and have a darn good look at some of the fringe players like arnot, helbig , miles, ohanlon dea etc.

we have to stop playing too many of the blokes who constantly fail under pressure.
play miles instead newman. play anyone instead of grigg. drop edwards keep lloyd bring knights in and see if he cant string some games together and if his body holds up.
drop vickery bring in elton drop hmpson if need be when maric is fit and play griffiths as the second ruck. pee chaplin off when rance is fit shame there is no other option right now.

as side that may not win but remain competetive and we get to find out about players would go
b/ morris -  rance - dea/mcintosh
hb/ helbig - astbury - grimes
c/ ellis - martin - deledio
hf/ gordon - elton -knights
f/ griffiths - riwoldt - lloyd
r/ maric - cotchin - miles
int/ lennon - arnot - vlastuin - conca . one of if not both of jackson and thoimas  would have to get games to provide grunt.
make sure when injuries hit the likes of mcdonough mcbean get some games and experience.ffs even ifyy blokes like banfield darrou lets at least have a look at what they have to offer.

what do we really lose if blokes like newman grigg houli edwards chaplin vickery petterd foley king and several others dont get games. thse blokes should be leaders and they should be capable of taking us to the next level. time and time again they have shown they are not capable of doing it. its time to complete the rebuild instead of only half finishing it. time to build and develop and if that means a step or two backwards so be it.

That why I think rebuild talk is over the top. I'm all for changing the manager but the lists isn't woeful
