RICHMOND midfielder Brett Deledio says the Tigers had no inkling either way whether Melbourne was tanking during the match late in 2009 in which Jordan McMahon kicked a goal after the siren to win the match for the Tigers.

Deledio was responding to questions at a press conference about Carlton midfielder Brock McLean's claims on television on Monday night that his former club, Melbourne, had thrown matches in 2009.

Always wondered about the final kick-in from a point by Bowden, Coach.  He kicked it straight down the throat of an Aints player and then calmly watched it go back over his head for a goal ...... (or something similar if my memory is correct).

I thought then that it was a deliberate mistake to ensure that we lost the game .....

When he went to the Filth they were tankers from 04-07 but they were not tanking in 2010.
