Greater Western Sydney midfielder and former Melbourne captain James McDonald has retired after 264 AFL games.

Stephen Clifton and Tim Segrave have been delisted.

Ex-Tiger Dean Polo heads a quartet delisted by the Saints.

Brett Peake, Sam Crocker and rookie Daniel Archer were the others cut.
