In my opinion these are who should go -

2012: Browne, Derickx, Foley, MacDonald, McGuane (traded), Moore, Newman, Post, Tuck, Webberley, White (one more year for depth)

2013: Arnot, Batchelor, Conca, Cotchin, Dea, Ellis, Elton, Graham (keep for one more year for depth), Grigg, Grimes, Jackson, Helbig, King, I.Maric, Martin, Nahas, O'Hanlon, Rance, Riewoldt

2014: Edwards, Houli, Morris, Vickery

2017: Deledio

Rookies:

Brad Miller (mature rookie - 2nd year)
Adam Maric (rookie - 1st year)
Ben Darrou (rookie - 1st year)
Steven Verrier (rookie - 1st year)
Gibson Turner (rookie - 1st year)
Piva Wright (rookie - 1st year)

I'm not sold on Mini Maric either but these first year rookies may be given an addional year. Haven't seen enough to judge.

Too early to call rookies at this stage and the jury is still out on a few of the others after this year, will all depend on who we get in free agency and during the draft/trade period.

PNGTiger, So you would keep Webberley on the list but get rid of King? Get rid of Dea but keep Moore?

If you got rid of King, Dea and Graham we would also need to pay out their contracts.  :-\

No one can take Cotchin's no.9. What the hell happened to Edwards. You didn't trade him did you.  :lol

Webberly is young and doesnt pose as a list clogger YET. King I have gone at the end of 2013, not the start. Moore I would keep for one more year and the jury is out on Dea...

Trade them or keep them until their contracts end then.

Webberley is 24 yo and played 16 games in 3 years. Looks like a duck, certainly quacks like one

8 senior and 1 rookie spot.

Expect they will pick up 1 definite 2 possible via FA (Chaplin / Cloke). Leaves 6 draft spots for kids and 1 rookie spot, unless they trade a pick for a player.

Would say you would have to keep one of Post Moore or McGuane (shouldnt go to backline again) just as back up to the injury prone duo of Griffiths and Grimes. Astbury still unknown (personally dont rate him but could be harsh early judgment).

I think they can all go.

I would rookie Moore as a 'mature ager' for cover in case of injury, wave good bye to McGuane and Post. Thank you both for your services, wish you all the best.

Chaplin coming in and Astbury injury free will cover for the loss of the other 2. Astbury, while I agree hasn't shown much at all to deserve wearing the #12, is young and has some time on his side, unlike Post and McGuane who we know what we are getting, and it's just not good enough.
