Votes round 6, 2005 - RFC vs Port
« on: May 01, 2005, 09:10:04 PM »
3. Brown - Played FF and just was too classy for the Power's defence with a lazy 6. What a star!  :thumbsup
2. Tuck - 26 possies and turned the tide when we were down.
1. Richo - had to give the big fella at least one vote in his 200th. 17 marks says it all  :o.

Apologies to most of the side. Simmonds, Cogs, Gas, Hall (after qtr time), Pettifer with 4, Bowden and Tivs all could of fitted into the votes.

It's great when you've got a dozen players you could give votes. Beats the hell out of struggling to find someone who deserves them. :)

2 - Richo
1 - Tivendale - best game for yonks.

Special mentions to Gaspar who carved up Tredrea in the second half, Simmonds, Brown, Pettifer, Coughlan, and the newbies on debut Tambling and Meyer.

The Golden Turnup - yes there is a TGT nomination this week  ;D and it goes to....................................

Your's truly (yep that's right me WP ;D)  who put the greatest Mozz of all time on poor Danny Meyer when he was lining up for goal in the first quarter. I told anyone who'd listen this kids kicking for goal was sensational and he then proceeded to shank it -

SORRY Danny - wont happen again  :rollin :lol ;D :rollin

3 - Tuck - Dog at a bone - Been a while since wev'e had a player like this. Quickly elevating himself towards my favourite player  :thumbsup
2 - Rcho - Will go down as a Richmond legend.
1 - Browny - Our classiest player.

As mentioned I am really enjoying stuggling to figure out who to give votes too  :cheers

Watched the game today .  Heard the call sunday morning, but was almost asleep for the whole first half.  (its 5.10am when the game came on )

Great game - good to see the Tigers play well

3 Votes - Richo - 200th Game - in the thick of the action.  Superb game breaking mark and goal. (to put us in front at half time)
2 votes - Tuck - excellent game - to think this guy had only played 3 or so games before the start of the season
1 vote - Brown - Excellent skills - vision and good to see Tezza had him one out in the square in the 3rd Quarter.  Gotta love how unpredictable our forward set up gets.

Pats on the back to Bowden (very hungry for the ball), Cogs (workmanlike), Hall, Gaspar and Kellaway (one of the reasons we are doing so well to tie some opposition down.  Pettifer - looks like a rag doll, but gets the frees by putting in his rag doll body 4 nice goals too. Lids - like his baulking and ball sense more and more.

What the hell happened to Simmonds in the 1st quarter - blowing like a smoker!  Good 2nd half effort although Primus - should be dropped!

Tambling (not match fit), Meyer (followed Wanganeen most of the day I assume) - gee he will be a similar player.

Great stuff and all the positives were there.  Now to all those yet to buy a membership - now its time!   :thumbsup
