Clanger stats as presented here maybe a true reflection of the skill level of some players but it does not decipher which of those clangers occured from a contested, in and under possession. ie. hard ball winners can feature high in the clanger count.

Less disposals + more clangers = higher %
clangers / total disposals * 100 = clanger %

need to put up the players respective percentage of contested possessions alongside those stats
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

Agree - clanger stats need to be used in conjunction with contested and uncontested possessions.

But they do give an indication of a players weakness - reckon Conca needs a little bit more time before he offloads the ball - must think its hot or poisonous the way he disposes of it
