More on Iles:
Originally from Tasmania, Iles played a handful of games for Collingwood before the GC SUNS threw him a lifeline he grabbed with both hands.
Playing 16 of the 22 games, Iles provided plenty of support for the SUNS young brigade.

He was picked up by the GC SUNS in the 2010 Rookie Draft after a standout season in the midfield at Box Hill, one that saw him share third place in the Hawks’ Best and Fairest and achieve selection in the 2009 VFL Team of the Year.

Draft history: 2006 NAB AFL Pre-Season Draft 1st round selection (Collingwood) No. 2 overall; 2010 Rookie Draft selection (Gold Coast) No. 3; 2010 rookie elevation (Gold Coast).
