Get Cloke
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

5 things we need

1. Neil Balme out Cameron FFS

The decision to sign Jackson, Graham & Edwards pre season was arguably the most pathetic thing the club has done in 30 years.

2. 1 A grade midfielder. Above 185 preferably. Bastinac type :banghead :banghead. We have 2 top 10 picks of later and whilst i think Conca and Morris have upside i think we need a stronger body in the middle

3. 1 Solid Defender. Chaplan

4. 1 Big Forward. Should aim for Cloke but no one with balls at the RFC so we will probably end up with Russell and try him in the F 50 alongside the "rejuvenated" Mcguane

5. 1 Small to give King a chop out as Edwards and Nahas are pathetic against quality opposition.

Cloke was poor tonight but he's got Donkey Dawes trying to play forward with him. Cloke and Riewoldt would be a nightmare for opposition coaches.
And you may not think I care for you
When you know down inside that I really do

No just a nightmare for our coach because they'll be aiming and pointing at everyone including themselves.
Agreed we need another good key fwd but not at his price $800k plus??

Recruiters need to identify someone ready to make a name for themselves and burst out of the shadows that's what they're paid for.
As I said before what could $800-1 mil get us in midfielders? 2 top notch? 3 good b graders??

Giant strides?
You are joking aren't you?

Balme has been part of one of the most successful clubs in decades yet he wouldn't do much

Yeah Jackson 2 year extension February
Edwards see above
Gus last year extended contract

1. Big bodied defender Chaplain it seems is coming.
2. A couple of hard nosed midfielders.
3. Strong big bodied lead up forward.
4. Small highly skilled forward.
5. Captain with inspiration.

We need big blokes only and hopefully foley can put in a full season
He was the turning point of the season
His absence messed up our rotations plus he tackles not like the
Houlis
Newman
Griggs
Edwards
White
Etc
Big men a must
Griffo needs to be looked at because he's to soft
Post is very weak also
Dylan grimes is a star but his hankie strings have been an issue
I'm still not panicking I have faith in the coaching staff that we are heading upwards but they have to start wielding the axe starting from the non existent captano custard
Otherwise Dimmer needs to go
Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.
