We'll get him for nothing though.. Could be good for midfield rotations. What if Foley does an Achilles again?

exactly , plus tuck turns 32 next year and quite possibly could struggle. Even if wee draft a heap of young midfielders they will not have much impact next year so some senior depth picked up for free would give us a bit of insurance

Might as well, get all we can regardless of age because we don't even have depth in our youth....might as well recruit the older blokes.

Rebuilding....crap.....we cant make honey out of poo.....at the moment thats all we have....a big pot of poo.

Correct the 15 odd players under 21 on our list have shown SFA in the 1 or 2 seasons they have been on the list. delist Them all and start again. It he older players we need to persevere with!

have said pretty often nw yes to this.

will never understand the too old argument just  for arguments sake.

age does not come into it.  taking players who will improve the list does.

moloney for a psd pick is basically paying nothing. will say it again the key to taking older blokes is you insure you stay in the nd in doing so.

we can and should go something like this

10 30 32 50 68 84??  with 10, 30 50 84 on kids. rookie a couple of kids as well and you have 6 youngsters coming into your club.
it still enables us to trade 32 or use it on a player like lee. moloney psd, chaplin free agency  and  a couple of mature state league players.

me i ticked yes we should get moloney i reckon coukd do worse than getting two or three like him.

Depth player again only - perhaps a good development role in seconds

we currently have 21 players aged 22 or under. theres another 7 aged 24 and under how many kids do you think we need on the list.

throw in the fact we may add at least another 5 or 6 18 yr olds in the  rookie nd i say taking 4 or 5 mature types  who cost little as far as picks go can only help not hinder what we do.

give me moloney psd , chaplin fa , lee mid nd , duffy late nd  hartigan rookie , and a few good performing state league players with rookie picks  over a raft of kids taken with late nd  psd and rookie picks any day.
