Very poor game of football tonight. We were average but Essendon was complete POO!

Very true.
I feel I've wasted 2 hrs of my life I won't get back.
Truly an ordinary game.

Just enjoy beating that bunch of sods for 10 mins, at least  :dancing

Then we can all come back tomorrow and talk lists, chew fat, and trade cooking recipes.

No! We need to bag everyone now! What a pack of duds we have. Hardwick should make them climb mountains with bricks strapped to their legs, this is a stuffing disgrace :banghead

I think Leigh Matthews summed it up really well early in the game, "the Tigers take a long time to put a team away". How many teams would have 20 more inside 50's than the other team and still only be ahead by 3 goals. Something has to be addressed with the forward structure, its just not working the way it is. Some passages of play tonight were just sheer comedy, 4 or 5 consecutive turnovers just isnt up to AFL standard, have never seen a Bombers team look so poor as they were tonight, if they had played a better team they would have lost by 200pts.

Its good to have a win but it just felt like the Bombers were packed up and ready to go home at quarter time. Was good to see O'Hanlon have a bit more involvement and Astbury kicking a goal will help with his confidence. We always say it but next season still looks promising if we can add a few more decent recruits and cut a few existing duds. A few more close ones going our way and its finals here we come (fingers crossed!  :gotigers).

Agree cant believe this guy has got a coleman and runner up (probably twice).

Stuff any talk of injuries, this guy should be kicking 150+ per season.

Stuffing stuff.

You really are a whiny bitch when your beloved bombers lose.

They should have had Benny Hill music playing whenever the ball went forward for us. We had no system other than bombing it and they kept kicking it straight back to us to have another go.

The positives:
Our team defence, attack on the footy and pressure across the park was back to where it needs to be. Best we've done on that front for about 10 weeks.
Our spread from stoppages most of the night was very good. We murdered them on the outside with our pace.

It was like an NBA all-star game, minus a lot of stars :)

No body contact, no intensity, just playing because they have to.

The major issue we have which causes the turnovers is too many players inside F50
Way too much congestion
I think it caused by the way we play in regards to players thinking defensive pressure although we haven't actually turned the ball over thus having too many players inside F50
