According to the AFL website our most improved this year is Cotchin and next year's bolter will be Reece Conca. Your Thoughts?

RICHMOND

Most improved:
It's a bit cheeky to say that Trent Cotchin is the Tigers' most improved considering he won the 2011 Jack Dyer Medal. But then the Tigers' best and fairest medal has really been a boutique award for many years, and Cotchin has now made such a leap that he's among the top few in the competition. The 22-year-old's game against the Bulldogs in round 20, in which he exhibited almost every skill known to the game, was a football master class. He might just win the Brownlow.

Next year's dream bolter: Since Richmond took Reece Conca at No.6 in the 2010 national draft, there have been murmurs about whether he was worth such a high pick. But in recent rounds Conca has shown enough to suggest that the Tigers have made an astute choice. Conca is developing into a clearance specialist. He had eight clearances against Melbourne in round 15, seven against North Melbourne in round 17 and six against the Brisbane Lions in round 19. They’re good numbers to build on.

I hope its Batch next year. Had a good first season and let down a bit this year although you can excuse a second year player. Mainly cause I like his style, just tough and simple

Conca would be "most improved" in the context of the thread, Cotchin is just flat out the best...

Next year, if we don't get Cloke and Griff is played at stuff out, if he is played back again forget it. He has a massive roost and is very tall, he also has good hands. Wasted down back for mine, play him where we recruited him to play. His Apprenticeship and learning in the backline how to be a forward has finished...
DIMMA - You will be held ACCOUNTABLE...

“We are really excited about what we have brought in. We have got great depth of players that can take us where we need to go. We are just putting some cream on the top at the moment,” he said.

Not a dig before you get angry I'm genuinely curious. Why do you think Griff down back is a waste? I can't get my head around that train of thought

Like I said he is a massive kick and could kick goals from 50+ quite easily if played at CHF. He is better on the lead and tends to get caught behind a bit to often when playing down back. He is also very tall, crumbers can feed off him in our forwad line instead of our opponents like they do now in the back line. He would support Riewoldt very nicely as well. He is a forward, that is what he played his footy as until he came to us, that is what we recruited him for and thats where he should play IMO...but its only MO..

He also seems slow down back and is not agile or quick enough for the faster forwards.

Okay yeah you've made some good points. On the massive kick, I like it just as much from kick out as kicking goals. Yeah agree he would make a good CHF but personally I just believe he has the traits to be a good defender if he can get his head around it. I rekon he should play up forward except in maybe the case a resting ruckman is having a rest forward, our backs just seem to small for them
