Got a txt couple of days ago to say the mbrship packs would be arriving before xmas.
Then got a generic email yesterday stating that if any reserved seating had been changed they wouldn't be received until jan once they all be processed.

Pretty dissapointed, not at the club I understand there are processes in place and these things take. Time to sort out but had changed both my kids seats. So was looking fwd to seeing them rip open their packs on xmas day and show off to the rest of family and non tigers (outlaws) on the day.

Maybe now I have to spend more money in the tiger den?  :shh

Just spent 15 minutes on the phone with the lovely Emily who was very helpful and competent.  She organised my Committed Tiger payments for my existing 8 memberships and added 2 new ones - grandson #8 and wife #1 so I just increased the total by 10!

Agree smokey.

Have dealt with Emily too and she's terrific. Nothing is ever too much trouble. :thumbsup

Re-signed all the Peanuts today

My now 18yo nephew is now a Tiger Insider despite it being of absolutely no use to him at all. $85 for a lanyard & a sticker sheet + 3 games in Melb he cannot use (especially now he's about to join the army)

Hilarious the reasons given to me why the Club don't offer a better membership package for people who can not genuinely get to games  ::)

We're now just under 5,000 ahead of this time last year  :thumbsup.

Keep this up and we'll reach 58k even without any onfield bandwagon effect.

OT I know WP but what corps has he got his mind set on?

He is going to be doing an apprenticeship as well smokey, heavy duty mechanic. Will do his basic training at Wagga and then will be posted somewhere for his apprenticeship, not sure where that will be.

He was going to join last year when he turned 17 did the exam, passed easily but decided to put it off for 12 months so he could finish school

They are coming down for Xmas so I'm expecting more details then

Fair enough, he's made a good choice - I hope the lifestyle is for him.  When I was in, the vehicle/engineering apprenticeships were mainly done at Bonegilla near Wodonga but I'm not sure nowadays.  12 weeks at Kapooka - he will remember that for the rest of his life regardless!!   ;D
