i think collingwoods membership is fos and manufactured
they do not have 70kplus real members

Like it or not they do, they sell alot for those 3 game memberships.

Plus they sell a fair few 16 or in their case 17 game memberships because they offer something that I reckon is a great idea and that's reserved seats for away games. Hence, their members have the same reserved at the MCG for every game. Extremely popular!!

Been saying it for yonks RFC should look at doing it too

Is there a reason we don't have reserved seats for Away games at the G? Is this a question for RFCO?

I have asked so many times. Been told that it's too cost inhibited for a couple of reasons

1/ with the amount of work involved because we would not be able to have the same reserve seats for MCG away games as we do for home games.

2/ Club not sure they'd be able to sell them all as they would need to buy a block

Now before anyone asks "why" regarding point 1. Just go back to Mr Tigra's complaints about the Saints cheersquad and members having the Punt Road end last week when the MCG is our home. That's why other clubs outside the Pies use the Punt Road end for their home games.

As for point 2 - easy way for the Club to do it is to organise a block of say 2000 seats in say the Ponsford stand and then offer them in a first in first served basis and see how quickly they go. Actually for those with 3121 or other Coterie m'ships just included it as an option and I reckon they will be gone in a flash

Surely, instead of worrying if the block they purchase will be able to be sold, send out an email and get expressions of interest from members. If they get 5000 replies saying "Yes, we are interested." then they'll know it is feasible and can proceed?

Suggested that too JVT

So the question ended up on one of those on-line members' surveys (2011 IIRC) - nothing since

Eagles haven't updated for weeks. They may even be ahead of the hawks. We must win this week and keep bridging the gap.

I think they're like the Bummers and have a ceiling on their numbers due to stadium size.  Same for the Crows too I think.

I think the Eagles can't take any other members because of the size of Patterson's stadium.
They have a huge waiting list.
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.

Isnt it interesting that hawthorns membership area in big games always seems to have largish gaps?  :shh
