Free agency is limited to AFL players who have had 8 years plus in the system (ignoring delistings) so trading will still be important if you want to poach a young player from another club. I would say all our key players we want to keep are all signed up and untouchable. It'll only be fringe players with still some tradeable currency (ie. not duds like Gus, Webberley, etc...) who we would be willing to give up via a trade and would get us something in return useful. For example like Collo who was traded for Grigg. Young outside mids or flankers who are easily replaceable quickly in the draft.
