Another Sponsorship Deal
« on: September 10, 2012, 05:11:02 PM »
I hadn't noticed this on the forum so thought I would post it.  Apologies if it has already been.  From the club's website:

Caydon teams with Richmond

richmondfc.com.au 11:12 AM Fri 07 Sep, 2012

Caydon, a leading property developer in Melbourne, has signed a three-year sponsorship deal with the Richmond Football Club.

Caydon creates top quality residences in the inner city locations of Melbourne, including Trilogi in Prahran, Atria in Hawthorn and One Lygon in Brunswick.

Through partnering with Richmond, Caydon aims to expand its brand awareness in Victoria through the Club’s supporter base.

“Caydon is leading the way for innovation and design in property development, and we’re proud to have them part of our sponsor family,” said Brendon Gale, Richmond Football Club CEO.

Joe Russo, Managing Director of Caydon, is a devoted Tigers’ fan, and views the sponsorship as a way to strengthen his connection to the Club.

Mr Russo hasn’t missed a Richmond  game in 35 years, and he’s delighted the new sponsorship deal will support the Club in various ways, including the development of up-and-coming players.

To learn more about Caydon’s properties, please visit www.caydon.com.au.

The more sponsors the better  :thumbsup. We should get another sponsorship boost once we start making finals regularly and get FTA TV friendly fixtures (more Friday night games).

Yep after 15 years, Holden has decided to go back to sponsoring football (different codes). They are also sponsoring the NRL's state of origin and national side for $10m over 3 years.

Also took the under 20's NRL comp off Toyota.

With Jeep sponsoring us, we wouldn't have got Holden as well anyway.

You don't see Jeep as a big cat? Wild think that now they are owned by Fiat these days, there a nice cat to have on board.

Would reckon our deal with Jeep is as good if not better than what the pies have with Holden

It probably is but theirs is a coaches sponsor and ours is major.

They'd be making a crapload more sponsorship revenue than us

:thumbsup 100% right WP.

When Chrysler join the V8's in 2014 with their street racer  Chrysler 300 SRT8 & dominate the competition it won't be dissimilar to how the Mighty Tigers will dominate the AFL comp from 2014 and beyond.

Then we can trump the pies with a cool 2 million a year deal.
