Server upgrade - Oct. 16

Just an early heads up that in mid-October our site's host will be upgrading the version of the MySQL database server.

During the upgrade, all websites on the server (which includes ours) will be taken offline in order to ensure no database updates are made while the upgrade is taking place. The estimated service outage will be less than 4 hours.

Maintenance Start Date & Time (AEST): Tuesday 16th October, 2012 21:00
Maintenance End Date & Time (AEST): Wednesday 17th October, 2012 06:00

this Aust company we now use are very very good

Problems we had last year were with our former hosts regarding the domain name - long complicated story

As a site veteran and warrior poet it's pertinent of me to state last years outages were very frustrating.

Here's hoping the October maintenance goes smoothly
