Potter leaves Coburg Tigers

ADAM Potter has elected not to take up a redefined role as Coburg’s Development League coach, as AFL club Richmond assumes control.

Potter, the VFL club’s senior coach this year, was bumped from the top job at the end of the season and offered the lesser role as Richmond, Coburg’s AFL affiliate for one more year, assumes coaching control of the Tigers.

Potter was offered the Development League role with a view to slide back into the senior job in 2014, but last week told president Bill Bilakas he would not remain at the club.

“With respect and dignity, he didn’t take that option, and decided to move on,” Bilakas said.

Potter was unavailable for comment.

All we need now is Coburg to leave Richmond.
The club that keeps giving.

Forget about what Richmond should have done Mr Magic, some support from his own board would have been more appropriate

One thing that cannot be taken away from Adam is the fact he is a premiership winning coach  :thumbsup

On the few occasions i was able to watch Coburg games via telecast, one thing was apparent was that Adam looked like a man who was torn between playing to win and delivering to suit the needs of RFC. whether coburg did not assist him enough is not something that im aware of, but looking in it would appear he was never able to coach the way he wanted to.

And for the blokes laying boots into him?? seriously when Webberley is your best rfc midfielder and shebeast graham is your best ruck well WTF seriously  :huh3 :boredom :facepalm

Good luck to him in the future  :thumbsup

Coburg and our reserves players have been a basket case all year, no one else wouldve touched em  :help
