gws have a plethora of young mids they lack kpds and a quality ruckman.
looking at them i reckon they will go.
1/ whitfield. best available though id take stringer here.
2/ grundy. best big man available and a top 3 pick anyway.
3/ plowman/clurey. reckon one of these blokes has been earmarked here they have a great need for a kpd and neither will be available when their next pick comes around.

4/ toumpas to melb.
5/ stringer to wb. they have two picks if there is a risk and i dont buy into it that there is they can afford to take him here.  most talented player in the draft id cut my right arm off to get him.
6/ one of  mcrae, wines, mayes, orourke, i lean towards mayes here. wb
7/ wines to p/a
8/ mcrae to brisbane.
9/ for me vlastuin or orourke. rich. depending on what p/a and brisbane do one of wines/mcrae/orouke/vlastuin should be available imo.
10/ daniher.
Wines is set to head to Melbourne
O'Rourke is set to head to WBD.  Lions will probably take a KPP.
Rumour going around that Stringer won't get past pick 6.

AFL site article on Taylor Garner...

Plays like: The beauty of Garner is that he is an individual talent, who plays in his own way. Sometimes he shows the same overhead marking skills as Fremantle's Nat Fyfe, but he is a different player to Fyfe. Really, Garner is a different player to most. He turns players inside out, is tough and determined, and can provide a spark for his team with a big mark, clever goal or crucial tackle. He could end up playing anywhere on the ground, too.

Draft range: Garner would suit a club that has the foundations of a good team already built, and needs an extra layer of class. That might be North Melbourne, who could do with another versatile forward. Garner should be in that range, from about pick 9-22. If still available at pick 22, the Bulldogs may swoop.

Another BF rumour:

"I know a guy that is at school with Macrae and Macrae has told him that he thinks he will go to Melbourne or Richmond FWIW"

I think there are a clear two we are looking at right now. Garner and Vlastuin. From what I have been told.

Don't think Toy's ever going to make it. Though if we had a PSD pick he may be worth it. I think he's a bit soft tbh and can't build his tank. Not the best combo.

Tippett will be on double what he's worth. If we were going to spend 1 million per year we should have got bloody Cloke.  ;D

If it's out of Garner or Vlastuin then I'd be inclined to go Garner as I think he has a good enough contested game to play midfield.
